This piece depicts the eyes of the great sadguru Paramahaṃsa Yogānanda, the world’s foremost proponent of kriyā yoga, a system of advanced techniques for controlled activation of kuṇḍalinī śakti and rapid spiritual awakening.
Yogānanda came from India to the West in 1920, and spent the rest of his life teaching yoga and vedānta, illuminating the singular truth underlying all religions, and initiating thousands of kriyā yogis.
